Matthieu intervenes in acquisitions and disposals of companies, assets, and portfolios of assets, equity investments, and joint ventures, notably in real estate, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.

He also advises his clients on the management of their real estate assets (drafting and negotiation of all types of leases and management contracts).

His practice area includes litigation to a significant degree.

Before joining Chatel as a partner, Matthieu worked for several years in large French and Anglo-Saxon law firms.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016, Matthieu holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in French and English Business law from the University of Paris-Sud XI and is a graduate of EDHEC Business School (2015). He speaks English fluently.
