Jérôme intervenes in insolvency litigation and restructuring. His expertise covers both amicable restructuring proceedings (ad hoc mandate and conciliation) and insolvency proceedings before the French courts (safeguard procedure, judicial reorganization, and winding-up procedure).

Jérôme assists debtors in financial difficulty, as well as creditors of insolvent businesses, in asserting their rights, both in counseling and litigation.

Alongside the Corporate – M&A – Private Equity department, Jérôme also supports managers of companies facing financial difficulties in their corporate restructuring.

Jérôme also acts on behalf of judicial administrators and representatives (the administrateurs judiciaires and mandataires judiciaires), not only in the drafting of company transfer deeds or transfers by private agreement but also in counseling and litigation linked to in-court insolvency procedures.

He also has expertise in business litigation and commercial leases, areas in which he assists and represents his clients before the French courts.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2019, Jérôme joined Chatel after acquiring solid experience within leading French and Anglo-Saxon law firms. Jérôme holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Business & Tax law from the University Aix-Marseille. He speaks English fluently.
